Frequently asked questions

How long do my images stay online?

Exactly as long as you choose at upload: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or forever. Expired links stop working and the file is removed automatically. You can also delete any image manually at any time.

Are there restrictions on what I can upload?

Only real image files (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG, HEIC, AVIF) up to 15 MB — every upload is verified by content, not just the file name. Illegal or abusive content is removed and accounts violating the terms are banned.

Why does hosting cost a credit?

Your image occupies storage and CDN bandwidth for as long as the link lives. One credit per upload keeps the service fast and free of ads; free accounts get one-time credits that never expire.

Is there a file size limit?

Individual uploads are capped at 25 MB after chunking. Larger assets belong in dedicated storage — links here are meant for screenshots and web graphics.

Image to URL turns a picture into a shareable direct link you can paste anywhere — a forum post, a chat message, an HTML page or a Markdown readme. When you need a photo online but have no hosting of your own, this tool uploads the file to Cloudflare R2 storage served through a global CDN and returns a direct link with your choice of lifetime: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or permanent.
