Office to PDF

Word, Excel and PowerPoint files converted to real PDF on our servers

🪙 2 credits per file

Up to 200 MB. Files are deleted from the server within 30 minutes.

Input formats and what survives conversion

The worker runs headless LibreOffice with per-format import filters chosen deliberately:

InputFidelity notes
DOCX / DOC / ODTFonts embed when present on the worker; tables, footnotes and tracked changes flatten to their visible state
XLSX / XLS / ODSEach sheet becomes its own page using the workbook's stored print area and scaling
PPTX / PPT / ODPSlides render at 16:9 or 4:3 as authored; speaker notes are not included

Output is PDF 1.7 with selectable text — never a rasterized screenshot of your document.

Office files in, standards-compliant PDF out

LibreOffice conversion on dedicated server hardware keeps fonts, tables and slide layouts intact where browser-based converters quietly mangle them.

🖥️

True Office Engine

Rendered by a real LibreOffice installation on our server, not a browser approximation — fonts, tables and pagination survive the conversion, so contracts and resumes keep their exact layout.

⏱️

Ten Formats In

Accepts .doc/.docx, .xls/.xlsx, .ppt/.pptx, .odt/.ods/.odp and .rtf files — whatever office suite produced the document, a single upload handles it.

🪙

Fixed-Layout Output

PDF locks the document so it renders identically in every reader and on every device — the file you send is the file your client opens, with nothing to reflow.

Frequently asked questions

Which file types are supported?

.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .odt, .ods, .odp and .rtf.

Will the formatting stay correct?

This runs real LibreOffice on the server (the same engine behind many desktop "Save as PDF" features), so fonts, layout, images and tables convert far more faithfully than a browser-only approximation.

Is my file kept on the server?

No — the upload and the result are both deleted automatically within 30 minutes of the job finishing.

What Is an Office to PDF Converter?

An Office to PDF converter turns Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OpenDocument files into PDF documents, rendered by a real LibreOffice installation on our server. PDF is a fixed-layout format: fonts, images, tables, and pagination look the same on every device and in every viewer, which makes it ideal for sending contracts, submitting resumes, publishing reports, and archiving documents that must not be altered. Unlike a simplified browser-based approximation, this tool uses the actual office suite engine, so complex documents keep their true layout. It is aimed at professionals who need dependable, share-ready PDFs from office files. The conversion handles the everyday mix of formats — documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks — in one place.

Capabilities at a glance

  • ✅ Accept .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .odt, .ods, .odp, and .rtf files
  • ✅ Render with real LibreOffice so fonts, layout, and images come out right
  • ✅ Convert spreadsheets and slide decks, not just text documents
  • ✅ Upload your file in chunks over an encrypted connection
  • ✅ Delete your file from the server after processing is complete
  • ✅ Charge a small number of credits from your account balance

Typical use cases

  • 📄 Sending a Word contract that must display identically on every recipient's device
  • 💼 Submitting a resume or proposal as a polished PDF
  • 📊 Sharing a PowerPoint deck with people who do not have PowerPoint
  • 🔒 Freezing a spreadsheet into a format recipients cannot accidentally edit

Because real office software does the conversion, your file is uploaded to our server over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted as soon as the job finishes — never stored or reused. This is a credit-metered tool, so a successful conversion costs a small amount from your balance, and failed jobs are refunded automatically. Very unusual fonts that are not installed on the server may be substituted, and slide animations do not survive conversion, since PDF pages are static.
