How the AI reads long documents
The pipeline feeds the LLM structured extraction, not raw bytes:
- Chunking — pages group into ~2000-token chunks with heading context carried between chunks.
- Map-reduce — chunks summarize independently, then a second pass merges them into one coherent report.
- Grounding rules — the model must attach page references and say 'not stated' rather than invent facts.
- Output blocks — overview paragraph, 5–8 key points, explicit decisions/actions lists, open questions if any.

What types of PDF can I summarize?⌄
Any PDF that contains real text — reports, contracts, research papers, manuals, articles. If your PDF is a scan of images with no text layer, the tool will tell you and refund the credits; OCR tools in this site handle scans.
In which language is the summary written?⌄
The summary follows the language of the page you are viewing (all 11 site languages are supported). If you open the tool from a link with no language, it falls back to the browser language, then English.
How are very long documents handled?⌄
The document is read in segments of 25,000 characters each, every segment is condensed to a digest, and one final report is composed from all digests — so the ending of a 150-page document is included, not skipped. Documents beyond 150,000 characters summarize the first portion and the report says so.
Is my document uploaded somewhere?⌄
Your file is sent to a private VPS that extracts the text, then only the extracted text is sent to the AI for reading. The file is not stored, and the credits are only charged once the summary is delivered — any failure refunds them.

One summary costs {n} credits (the site owner can adjust this in the admin panel). Free accounts receive one-time credits that never expire; a failed job always refunds the charge.
